# toaudio

> toaudio turns articles into audio you can listen to and share in a browser. No app installation or toaudio account is needed to listen.

toaudio is in beta, with a Free plan and a paid Pro subscription. To request a reading on X, reply @toaudioapp under the post or article. We reply with a listening link.
You can also paste a public web article link into the home-page form and provide an email address. If we can read the article, we email you a listening link. Paywalled pages and PDFs are not supported.
Readings are in English, in a synthetic voice; Pro readings use a better voice than Free ones. Whole-thread readings and choosing another language are not currently supported.
Pro costs US$6.99 a month or US$59.99 a year. It adds a larger monthly allowance, better voices, priority handling and requesting several articles at once. Custom podcast playlists and playlist sharing are coming by October 30, 2026. See Pricing for allowances and plans.
Every listening page links to the original article. Authors can request removal by emailing team@toaudio.app or messaging @toaudioapp on X.
